The exemplary standard for personnel expenditures recommends 65% of total budget spent on payroll, payroll expenses/taxes, etc. The Ralls County Library spends 63%. The exemplary standard for books and electronic resource expenditures which includes print and electronic books, audiobooks and databases recommends 15% of budget. The Ralls County Library spends 12% The exemplary standard for the category Other which includes building maintenance, insurance, accounting, technology, programming expenses and supplies, etc. is 20%. The Ralls County Library spends 25% on these items. I am proud of the shape that our finances are in here at the library and thank the Ralls County Library Board of Trustees for their past and current financial decisions regarding the library.
