The Ralls County Library is funded by the county resident property taxes. All persons that live within the boundaries of Ralls County are eligible for a Library Card. Proof of Residency is required.

Ralls County children are permitted to apply for a RC library card upon turning five years old. A parent or guardian must sign the card and assume responsibility for materials checked out. Preschool children may check out materials on the cards of other family members.

There is no quantity limit on checked books, audio books, or magazines unless there is a waiting list for a specific item. Items may be checked out for 3 weeks.

No monetary fines are collected on overdue material. Patrons are requested to bring in boxed or canned goods for the local food pantry. A container is located in the Library’s lobby.

Non-Residents may purchase a library card for the cost of $30.00 per family to be paid annually.
